Step 1Slice onion and spinach and toss with cumin, chili powder, and salt.

Step 2Make a batter with chickpea flour and water, then fold in the seasoned vegetables.

Step 3Drop spoonfuls of batter into hot oil at 180°C (350°F) and fry until golden and crispy.
